There’s enough sun in Utah to provide power to a third of the nation.
So, why not go solar if you’re in Utah? Utah requires that their utility companies get 20 percent of their power from renewable sources by 2025. Compared to other states, that’s a pretty slow pace for a Renewal Portfolio Standard. But that doesn’t mean homeowners and business owners shouldn’t jump on the solar bandwagon. Why not take advantage of those rays, the decreasing price of solar panels, various state incentives, and the 30% Federal Tax Credit?
